Come join us as we kick off what promises to be an exciting, music-filled year for our young musicians and their families! The Metropolitan Youth Symphony (MYS), a founding resident company of the Mesa Arts Center, is one of the most established youth symphony experiences in the valley. We offer a variety of ensembles, including string orchestras, a full symphony orchestra, a wind ensemble, an honors quartet program, and a Jazz Lab.
MYS is proud to provide a unique, high-quality musical experience for youth—an opportunity rarely found at the school level. Founded in 1982, we are dedicated to professional symphonic training for young instrumentalists. Our members come from all over the Phoenix Metropolitan area, representing a wide range of economic and cultural backgrounds, united by their passion for music.
