M8k Marks showcases artwork by current, former faculty, and resident artists who have contributed to the exceptional drawing, painting, and printmaking traditions at the Mesa Arts Center over the last thirty years. These programs have thrived under the direction of David Manje, who started the printmaking program in 1985 with an old Griffin lithographic press that he converted into an intaglio press. With gifted instructors, artists-in-residence and diverse workshops, the drawing, painting and printmaking programs continue to excel and become a catalyst for many artistic careers.
