Youth Poetry Festival

Youth from across the Valley compete in the City-Wide Slam Championship. This commemorative event celebrates the hard work and dedication of students involved in Project Lit during the school year. Hosted in traditional slam fashion, our Youth Poetry Festival highlights poetry performed by both individuals and teams for a community audience. Check out this Spoken Word Championship in action.

Additionally, the annual youth anthology publication will be available, accompanied by a book launch reading by contributing youth from across the valley. Celebrate and support some of our newly published authors of the anthology, available at the event!
