The MIX Center is part of the ASU at Mesa City Center complex, a collaboration between ASU and Mesa, Arizona, a city rich in history, art, community, and industry. Located in the heart of Mesa’s Innovation District, the site serves as a laboratory for advanced media technologies and media production, a platform for game development and a driving force for entrepreneurial solutions. It will also be an open and inviting place for the public as well as a source of inspiration, entertainment, and education. Join Dr. Jason Davids Scott, head of the Film and Media Production program at Arizona State University, will take you on a tour of the brand-new MIX Center and give a brief overview of film history highlights and modern media technology of today.

 

 

Location: The Community Room at the MIX Center Located in downtown Mesa across from Mesa Arts Center at 50 Centennial Way

Meet at the main entrance of the MIX Center on Centennial Way and Mesa Arts Center Staff will escort you to the community room for the talk and tour.

 

Refreshments provided following the tour.

The building is wheelchair accessible, and elevators can be taken during the tour.
