Arts in Mind, for adults living with dementia and their caregivers
For Adults Living with Dementia: Mixed Media Project with Yasmina Parker
In this class, we will cover all the basics and teach participants how to lay out a mixed media art piece, step-by-step and item-by-item. In this class participants will: use paint, make a collage on a canvas and add texture materials or doodling to make the piece their own.
For Caregivers: Writing Workshop with Heather Lynn
Participants will create short vignettes that will then be transformed into a larger collaborative writing piece with fellow caregivers. This is a low-stakes experience with no previous writing experience required.
