Exciting things coming to MAC in October

October 1, 2021

We have some exciting things planned for October and we hope you join us! See below for all the activities coming to Mesa Arts Center this month.

Shows are back up and running!

Our theaters are opening and our first shows since March 2020 are hitting the stage! Check out our shows and find the one for you!

Fall classes continue

Our next session of fall classes begin in October, including a spooky stacker ring-making class - just in time for Halloween! Learn the basics of formig simple stacker rings with a Halloween theme on either Oct 16 or Oct 30! See the rest of the classes here.

Día de los Muertos Festival

Our FREE annual Día de los Muertos Festival returns on Sat, Oct 23 and Sun, Oct 24! This event celebrates the memories of the deceased with a community altar, great food, over a dozen cultural performances and so much more. We are also holding a Copper Skull Enamel class during the festival and after the event, celebrate Día de los Muertos with our Traditional Mexican Mask Painting Workshop.

One-of-a-kind experiences at our Museum

Not only are our fall exhibits still available and FREE to the public, but Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum is holding a Death Doula Workshop and a meditative Conscious Interplay with Visionary Art.

The Collective Applications begin

Build your leadership skills through creative thinking and practices! The Collective, a certificate program and 12-week experiential program is accepting applications Oct 1 – Nov 1.
