Beautiful Instruments = Beautiful Music

by Mesa Arts Center | November 3, 2015

“Play me, I’m yours” is an international event that takes donated pianos and transforms them into beautiful pieces of playable art. Pieces of art that will be enjoyed by everyone from professional pianists to passersby on the street. However, this event isn’t just for the players. Dancers will twirl next to onlookers and artists will showcase their work during the event. The main purpose of this is to inspire and bring the community together through a unique artistic approach. This will be the first time the project has happened in Arizona, and Mesa will be the first location. We couldn’t be more excited! But we need your help.  If you or someone you know has a playable piano they would like to donate, we would greatly appreciate your generosity. The pianos will be showcased February 27 through April 9. If you have any questions or would like to donate a piano please contact us at: streetpianos@mesaartscenter.com or call (480)-644-6621. Check out all the opportunities to get involved; click here for more information about the project.
