This exhibition focuses on works from the Permanent Collection selected by the Mesa Contemporary Arts (MCA) Docents. As with most museums, Docents are central to the functionality of the museum. Through their volunteer efforts and assistance, tours are conducted, art work is researched, special talks are prepared and opening receptions succeed. This exhibition demonstrates some of the research the docents have conducted on pieces from the permanent collection. The docents were also asked to provide a reason for their object selection, giving them an opportunity to showcase the pieces that have intrigued and touched them over the years.
