FLOURISH with MAC

September 12, 2019

You’re invited to kickoff the 2019-20 season with us this Friday, September 13! The annual season kickoff festival brings an opportunity to explore all that MAC has to offer—from five new exhibitions in the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum to live music, arts demos, hands-on activities and beyond, the event is part open house, part block party and all fun!

Things to look forward to this season:

  • Remarkable contemporary art in the always-free admission Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum. See the latest round of exhibitions starting Friday, September 13 with works inspired by the fascinating natural world around us!
  • World-class live entertainment through the Performing Live series. Browse the more than 50 live events scheduled for our theaters. New shows are added all the time!
  • Creative outlets through the visual and performing art studios programs. From ceramics to glass, jewelry to drawing, belly dancing to calligraphy and beyond, there is something for every interest, age and ability. (Stop by the studios at the event to see live demonstrations!)
  • Meaningful engagement opportunities through special events and pop-up performances throughout the season. Don’t miss the Water=Life Project workshops and pop-up Bach events throughout the season.
  • Memorable festivals starting this Friday, and Dia de los Muertos Festival and Mesa Arts Festival just around the corner—save the dates!

Join us Friday to dive in and explore! Find more information about the Season Kickoff Festival and the complete lineup of activities, here.
