Renowned blues rock guitarist/songwriter Kenny Wayne Shepherd and celebrated Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Beth Hart will be hitting the road together again on a co-headline US tour.
Kenny Wayne Shepherd is over two decades into a recording career that began when he was just 16. He has sold millions of albums worldwide and, in addition to his five Grammy nominations, he has won two Billboard Music Awards, a pair of Orville H. Gibson awards, the Blues Foundation’s Keeping The Blues Alive award and two Blues Music awards. He’s had eight #1 blues albums and a string of #1 mainstream rock singles. His latest release, Lay It On Down debuted at # 1 on the Billboard Blues Charts and remained there for 8 consecutive weeks. The record is still in the top ten, not having left it since the album’s release in August of 2017. Shepherd is also currently nominated for two Blues Music Awards.
Beth Hart is on fire. Right now, the Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter is riding a creative tidal wave, firing out acclaimed albums, hooking up with the biggest names in music and rocking the house each night with that celebrated burnt-honey voice. The Blues Magazine dubbed Beth Hart “the ultimate female rock star”, and there’s no doubt that her two-decade career is the ultimate thrill-ride. Hart released a fistful of hit albums through the ’90s, then reignited in the post-millennium as both a solo artist and the head-turning vocalist for guitar heroes like Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy and Slash. “Extraordinary,” wrote The Times of her once-a-generation voice box. It’s no wonder she’s been nominated for three Blues Music Awards this year. Beth is packing ever-larger venues in major cities around the world – including performances at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium and London’s Royal Albert Hall. Every live performance gets a standing ovation, because no one knows how to rock the house better than Beth Hart. When she sings clocks stop, hearts dance and neck-hair tingles...it’s that compelling!
